I have gone here to get my hair done and my teenagers many times and they've always done a great job-- yesterday they did my nails for a wedding. Sarah was absolutely delightful. The students are well informed, and they have pros on staff to check over things. It makes me so happy to think that I'm helping them to learn. ETA: It's very hard for them to melt their paraffin and have it ready in the early hours of the day. I think it's a good idea to wait until at least eleven or twelve to go in for a paraffin hand dip.

Went to Shear fire to get my hair bleached from a dark brown to a very light blonde. The hair stylist did a great job of making sure the color was even throughout and really seemed like she cared about the quality her work. The only reason I'm giving them a 4 star rating instead of 5 was because after we were finished the hairstylist told me I need to style my hair or get it cut different because she said the way my hair looked did not compliment my face shape at all. I understand that she's a professional but saying that just seemed a bit rude and kinda rubbed me the wrong way...other than that I'm very satisfied with how my hair turned out

Love how my hair turned out! The cut is perfect and it feels better than it has in a year (2 days later). My only problem was having to listen to young teenage girls talk and gossip for hours, but I guess that is to be expected at a hair school! I definitely suggest that people go here for a cheaper cut and color that still looks AMAZING!

This place does not meet the commitment they agree too. The back to school program gave out hair cut coupons for the kids to get there new cut for a fresh new year it was valid thru 8/7/23 and when we called to set up the appointment the instructor who answered the phone said they were not honoring those anymore and it wasn't even the 7th yet I don't get it she said she will not make any exceptions at all no matter what. Just seems like she don't care the how many people that affected and was excited they could afford to do cuts for there kids to have it shot down by her rudeness and dishonest hope she won't need anything in the near future to experience the hardship it caused some of us.

Very mixed review. The owner, Jana, did an amazing job on my hair for my wedding. Went back for another updo for a second photo shoot and was given a different stylist. She said she was "surprised they booked her an updo" which did not inspire a lot of confidence. The end result looked nothing like what I asked for. Jana ended up stepping in in the last minute and fixing it because I needed to leave. It looked good but barely held up through the photo shoot because it was not secured enough. Pleased with my first experience, extremely disappointed with the second.
